Motorcyclist killed in crash off I-4 and US-301 in Hillsborough County

The Florida Highway Patrol is currently investigating a fatal crash in Hillsborough County.

A 32 year-old male from Valrico was traveling southbound on US-301, along the ramp leading to westbound I-4, when the he lost control for unknown reason. The motorcycle departed the roadway and entered the shoulder, ejecting the rider in or near an adjacent retention pond.

It is unknown when exactly the crash occurred; however, the rider was located deceased at the crash scene during the early afternoon hours of February 18, 2022.
