Motorcyclist seriously injured in Court Street crash

Clearwater Police officers are on scene of a motorcycle crash with serious injuries on Court Street. The crash occurred at approximately 8:28 p.m. on Friday, February 11, 2022.

Police say that westbound traffic between MLK and Myrtle Avenue is closed as the investigation is conducted.

The motorcyclist, a 28 year-old male from Pasco County, was taken to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg as a trauma alert with possible life-threatening injuries.

According to Clearwater Police, the motorcyclist died early Sarurday morning.

No other vehicles were involved. Eastbound traffic is not affected.
