Units from the Largo Police Department and Largo Fire Rescue responded to reports of a vehicle crash at approximately 8:50 p.m. on Wednesday, April 3, 2019.
The crash occurred in the eastbound lanes of East Bay Drive at the intersection with Country Club Drive.

The crash involved a motorcyclist and at least one other vehicle. The motorcyclist was rushed to the trauma center at Bayfront Health St. Petersburg with serious injuries.
The driver of the vehicle remained on-scene and was speaking with investigators.
The incident is being investigated by traffic homicide investigators from the Largo Police Department.
During the investigation, the roadway was closed to traffic on County Club Drive along with eastbound lanes of East Bay Drive.
