Motorcyclist struck by vehicle in St. Petersburg died of his injuries

The St. Petersburg Police continue to investigate a crash the killed 30 year-old Kenneth Paul Adams.

The crash occurred on Roosevelt Boulevard North and the I-275 southbound entrance ramp on Friday, December 11th, at 6:50 p.m.

Adams was operating a 2007 Suzuki motorcycle southeast-bound on Roosevelt Blvd North.

A 2008 Mercedes four door sedan, driven by a 22-year old St. Petersburg man was headed Northwest on Roosevelt Blvd. He was attempting to turn left onto southbound I-275.

The driver of the sedan turned in front of the oncoming motorcycle and the motorcycle struck the car in the right rear.

Adams, who was not wearing a helmet, suffered life – threatening injuries and was transported to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg.

On Monday, December 14th, the St. Petersburg Police announced the death of Adams.

The investigation continues.
