St. Petersburg – The northbound I-275 entrance ramps onto the Howard Frankland Bridge from 4th Street North and Ulmerton Road will close from 11 p.m. Thursday, May 14, to 5 a.m. Friday, May 15, weather permitting.
During these ramp closures, motorists traveling on 4th Street North or Ulmerton Road will be directed to use Roosevelt Boulevard (SR 686) to access northbound I-275.
Message boards and advanced warning signs will assist drivers traveling through the area. Motorists should expect delays and congestion during these detours.
The temporary ramp closures are necessary for crews to perform paving operations as part of the new southbound I-275 (Howard Frankland Bridge) project between Hillsborough and Pinellas counties.
