Clearwater Police and Fire & Rescue units were dispatched to reports of a vehicle that struck a home early Tuesday morning.
The first responders were dispatched to the 1600 block of N Martin Luther King Jr Avenue at approximately 4:08 a.m. on Tuesday, May 14, 2019.
Responding officers reportedly located 22 year-old Savanna Scaife down the street where she was identified. She then returned to the crash to get her cell phone which was located on the driver’s side floorboard.
She appeared to under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs according to the arrest affidavit. Scaife was never issued a drivers license according to legal documents.
She was transported to the Pinellas County Jail and facing charges of Leaving the scene of a crash involving property damage.
