One Dead Following Shooting on River Willow Place in Tampa

Tampa Police are investigating a deadly shooting that occurred Sunday afternoon in the 13000 block of River Willow Place.

Officers responded shortly after 1:15 p.m. following a report of a fight. When they arrived, they found one person suffering from a gunshot wound. The person was pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives are working to identify the deceased.

According to police, the shooter remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators. Detectives are working to determine what led to the shooting.
