Detectives from the St. Petersburg Police Department are investigating a double shooting at the Emerald Pointe Apartments, 175 73rd Avenue North.
Police were called to the scene shortly after midnight.
One victim, a man, was found deceased inside an apartment.
A second man with a gunshot wound was taken to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg as a trauma alert.
