Overnight fire destroys Pinellas Park warehouse

Firefighters responded to reports of a warehouse fire at shortly after 3 a.m. on Monday, October 12, 2020.

The fire involved a warehouse located at 6661 Treeland Avenue in Pinellas Park.

Multiple surrounding agencies responded to assist once the initial firefighters reported the large commercial structure was fully involved with flames through the roof. The roof of the unoccupied structure eventually collapsed due to the fire damage.

According to the Pinellas Park Fire Departement, no injuries occurred during the extinguishment of the fire.

The most recent occupant of the warehouse was listed as a kitchen and bathroom cabinet dealer.

This incident is being investigated by the State Fire Marshal’s Office and the cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
