Investigation Continues After Woman Found Dead and Man Seriously Injured in New Port Richey Apartment
Pasco Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a suspicious death in the Sunny Dale Villas apartments in New Port Richey.
This incident began as deputies were dispatched to a missing person call on Menifee Court on Sunday, August 5, 2018 at approximately 11:02 a.m.
Deputies eventually located the body of a woman in an apartment on Menifee Court.
The woman has been identified as 49 year-old Christine Mary Nelson of 6911 Menifee Court, Apt. 1.
Her cause of death is not being released at this time. Nelson was found deceased in the apartment of 57 year-old Roy Toro of 6900 Medifee Court, Apt. 5.
Investigators say Toro suffered severe injuries and was transported to a local hospital where he is recovering.
This case is still being described as a suspicious death and remains under investigation.
Detectives do not believe that there is any danger to the public in this cases.
