Pasco Sheriff’s deputies closed one eastbound lane on SR 54 at Little Road.
Deputies were investigating a suspicious package found near the BB&T Bank, 9048 SR 54. The initial call for service was received at 11:51 a.m.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office Bomb Squad responded and took x-rays
of the suspicious package and determined it not to be explosive in nature.
At approximately 3:45 p.m., PCSO stated that the tightly packed contents included parts of birds, shells and various beans, vegetation and other items.
These artifacts are related to some religious practices.
