Crews from Largo Police and Largo Fire Rescue responded to a crash on Friday, March 4, 2022 at approximately 6:25 a.m.
The crash involved a single vehicle and a pedestrian in the northbound lanes of Missouri Avenue, north of Rosery Road.
According to Largo Police, a female was walking her bicycle from the east side of Missouri towards the west, north of the crosswalk. As she entered the left northbound through lane, she was struck by an oncoming vehicle in that lane.
The pedestrian was transported to Largo Medical Center in critical condition.
The Largo Police Department’s Traffic Homicide Unit responded to the scene and is conducting the investigation.
Northbound Missouri Ave is shut down at Rosery Rd for several hours during the investigation.
