Pedestrian Critically Injured in Crash on Oakhurst Road
William Zitzelberger, age 41 of Largo, was critically injured after being struck by a vehicle on Oakhurst Road at 105th Ave N.
The crash occurred at approximately 6 p.m. on Friday, September, 7, 2018.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, 89 year-old Edward McDonald of Largo was traveling southbound in a 2016 Honda CRV on Oakhurst Road passing 105th Avenue North.
Investigators say that Zitzelberger walked into the path of McDonald’s CRV. He was flown to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg with critical injuries.
