Pedestrian dead in crash on 66th Street in St. Petersburg

The St. Petersburg Police Department is investigating a fatal crash that occurred on 66th Street at
34th Ave North shortly before 10 p.m. on Thursday, October 15, 2020.

Police say that a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle and died as a result of their injuries.

The driver is cooperating with investigators and remained on-scene.

66th Street is closed to traffic in both directions at 34th Avenue North for the investigation.
