Pedestrian Flown to Trauma Center After Struck by Vehicle on Court Street in Clearwater

Crews from Clearwater Fire & Rescue were dispatched to the 1200 block of Court Street for reports of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle. The crash occurred at approximately 8:45 p.m. on Thursday, October 17, 2019.

38 year-old Andrea Louis Green was flown to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg with what Clearwater Police are calling life-threatening injuries. She was crossing Court Street from north to south and not in a crosswalk when she was struck by the SUV at Lincoln Avenue.

During the investigation, the eastbound lanes of Court Street will remain closed east of Missouri Avenue.

The vehicle and driver that struck the pedestrian remained on the scene.

As of Friday morning, police say Green remains in critical condition.
