Pedestrian killed in St. Petersburg crash

St. Petersburg Police are currently investigating a fatal crash involving a pedestrian.

Police say that shortly after 10 p.m. , a pedestrian crossing 4th Street S near 13th Avenue S. was struck by a vehicle.

The victim, an adult man, died of his injuries. The driver stopped and is cooperating with the investigation.

4th St. S is closed in both directions between 11th and 13th Avenue S. for several hours for the investigation.
