Pedestrian struck and killed in crash Saturday night in Lealman

Troopers from the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) continue to investigate a crash that killed a pedestrian on Haines Road. The crash occurred at approximately 6:38 p.m. on Saturday, November 26, 2022.

According to troopers, a sedan operated by a 40 year-old male was traveling northbound on Haines Road North, approaching 58th Avenue North, where the 42 year-old male pedestrian walked across the roadway and into the path of the vehicle.

As a result, the vehicle collided with the pedestrian who suffered fatal injuries at the scene of the crash.

It has been almost 13 years since the inception of IONTB.
