Pedestrian Struck and Killed Monday Night on 34th St in St. Petersburg
St. Petersburg Police are currently investigating a crash involving a pedestrian that killed 55 year old Hank Henry William Taylor.
The fatal crash, which also involved two vehicles, occurred in the 2900 block of 34th Street North at approximately 7:07 p.m. on Monday, December 11, 2017.
Investigators say Taylor was pronounced dead after he walked, midblock, into the path of a 2002 Ford Explorer in the southbound lanes of 34th Street North. That vehicle was driven by a 58 year-old man.
A second vehicle, a 2013 Nissan Altima driven by a 32 year-old woman also struck Taylor.
Both drivers stopped at the scene. The investigation into this crash is still underway, but investigators say no charges are expected at this time.
