One person was found dead early Sunday morning after a fire involving a small RV camper in Pinellas Park.
At approximately 1:43 a.m. on September 27, 2026, officers from the Pinellas Park Police Department responded to 12313 Tree Street to assist the Pinellas Park Fire Department with a reported structure fire.
Responding personnel located a small RV camper parked in the yard that was on fire. Two people were recovered and treated at the scene, with no injuries reported.
After firefighters extinguished the blaze, a deceased person was located inside the RV.
Detectives with the Pinellas Park Police Department and investigators with the State Fire Marshal’s Office were called to the scene to investigate. According to police, the fire appears to have been accidental.
The identity of the person who died has not been released as investigators work to notify next of kin.
The investigation remains active and is being conducted jointly by the Pinellas Park Police Department and the State Fire Marshal’s Office.
