Personal Watercraft Accident Results in One Person Flown to Trauma Center
A female occupant on a personal watercraft is currently being flown to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg.
The incident occurred shortly before 6 p.m. on Sunday, December 3, 2017.
The woman was operating the personal watercraft when she reportedly struck a dock in the Clearwater Harbor north of the Clearwater Memorial Causeway.
Fire rescue crews continue to search the area to confirm no other occupants were on the personal watercraft at the time of the crash.
Bayflite landed at the Seminole Boat Ramp to transport the patient to Bayfront.
FWC is investigating the incident.
