The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office and several local law enforcement agencies will conduct a county-wide DUI Wolf Pack operation Saturday night into Sunday morning in an effort to identify and arrest impaired drivers.
The operation will begin at 7 p.m. Saturday, September 5, 2026, and continue through 5 a.m. Sunday, September 6.
Participating agencies include the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office, Clearwater Police Department, Indian Shores Police Department, Tarpon Springs Police Department, Largo Police Department, Pinellas Park Police Department, St. Petersburg Police Department, and the Florida Highway Patrol.
Deputies and officers are expected to maintain a strong presence along some of Pinellas County’s busiest roadways throughout the operation.
According to the sheriff’s office, the Wolf Pack is intended to reduce traffic deaths, injuries, and property damage associated with impaired driving while also increasing public awareness about the dangers of driving under the influence of alcohol, chemicals, or controlled substances.
This weekend’s operation is dedicated to the memory of Mark Harris, who died as a result of a drunk driver on May 5, 2024, in Clearwater Beach.

The sheriff’s office said impaired driving can place any motorist or passenger at risk and that the operation is part of its ongoing effort to prevent similar tragedies.
