Pinellas deputies quickly arrest man after robbery at Chase Bank on Starkey Road

Deputies from the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest of 56 year-old Paul Sinclair. Sinclair is facing charges related to a bank robbery that occurred at approximately 1:28 p.m. on Monday, October 10, 2022.

The robbery occurred at the Chase Bank located in Unincorporated Largo at 10755 Starkey Road. Sinclair reportedly entered the bank, approached the teller, implied he had a gun and demanded cash. He was given $120 in cash before fleeing from the bank.

Deputies located Sinclair less than 10 minutes later at 8727 Bardmoor Place in Unincorporated Seminole, where he was taken into custody. 

Detectives interviewed Sinclair, who admitted to the robbery and to putting his hand under his shirt to form the shape of a gun while demanding cash from the teller. 

Sinclair was charged with one count of robbery and was transported to the Pinellas County Jail. 

The investigation continues.
