Pinellas deputy arrested following a domestic dispute in Seminole

A Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office deputy was arrested for domestic-related Burglary with Battery.

On April 8, 2023, at approximately 9:35 p.m., 35-year-old Corporal Deerman was involved in a domestic dispute with his ex-wife at a private residence in Seminole.

During the investigation, detectives learned that Corporal Deerman entered the residence after being told not to enter by the victim, the sole owner of the home. Deerman shoved his foot in the door and grabbed the victim’s arm, placing it behind her back. Deerman pushed the victim into a wall and entered the residence.

The victim sustained redness and bruising to her arm. Deerman was taken into custody and charged with one count of Burglary, with Battery. He was transported to the Pinellas County Jail without incident.

Deerman began his employment with the agency in April 2017.

The investigation continues.
