Officers from the Saint Petersburg Police Department responded to reports of a person shot in the 5200 block of 1st Avenue South.
The incident occurred at approximately 6:00 a.m. on Thursday August 1st.
Arriving officers located the victim, Eric O’Hara at 5245 1st Ave S.
Officers say that the residents in two separate units got into a fight and the suspect shot O’Hara.
The suspect, 34 year-old Marquise Davis has been located and taken into custody.
O’Hara, is suffering non-life threatening injuries, police say.
