Frank Odice, age 78 of Safety Harbor, was arrested by Clearwater Police for DUI on Friday evening after he drove the wrong way on McMullen Booth Road.

Odice was taken into custody at about 6:30 p.m. on Friday, November 23, 2018, on McMullen Booth Road near Eastland Boulevard. He was driving north in the southbound lanes. A police aide and several other motorists noticed the wrong-way driver, and the police aide was able to block traffic to prevent any potential collision.

Officers who arrived on scene noticed several signs of impairment from Odice, who admitted he had been drinking at the Oasis nightclub prior to getting behind the wheel of the car. He was booked in to the Pinellas County Jail.
