Prank Call to 911 Led to Lockdown at Pinellas Park Middle School
Pinellas Park Middle School went into a lockdown status shortly before 1 p.m. on Thursday, November 29, 2018.
The lockdown was lifted after it was determined that four 6th grade female students were involved in a false report to 911. The call led to a large emergency response by law enforcement and a complete search of the entire campus.
According to the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office, the girls will receive school sanctions and it is possible they will be charged with a campus disruption, pending the outcome of the investigation.
