Pursuit Starting in Tampa Ends on Tyrone Blvd in St Petersburg

Officers from Tampa Police Department followed a vehicle this evening across the Howard Frankland Bridge.
The vehicle continued onto Ulmerton Road and worked its way into Largo and eventually into St. Petersburg. At one point the passenger was dropped off at a home off Ulmerton Road in the Rainbow Village area. Pinellas Deputies were quickly able to apprehend that individual.
The driver continued toward the Bay Pines area and stop sticks deployed by Deputies were successful. The driver eventually stopped in the wrong lanes of traffic in the 3200 block of Tyrone Blvd.
The Volkswagen was apparently reported stolen and may have been involved in a couple of recent armed robberies. IONTB has been told that the driver is a juvenile.
