The Clearwater Police Department is currently investigating a crash which critically injured a motorcyclist.
The crash occurred shortly after 9 p.m. on Thursday, April 18, 2019 in the eastbound lanes of Gulf to Bay Boulevard at McMullen Booth Road.

The eastbound lanes of the roadway were closed for several hours during the investigation.
The motorcyclist involved in the crash died overnight at Bayfront Health St. Petersburg. Police identified him as 76 year-old Bernard Krajewski Jr. of Tarpon Springs.

His 2018 Harley Davidson motorcycle collided with a 2003 Honda Accord driven by 20 year-old Grant Zellner of Clearwater.
The investigation into the crash continues.
