Seminole woman facing attempted murder charges following knife attack at Pinellas Park Wawa

Pinellas Park Police continue investigating an incident at the Wawa at 3101 Gandy Boulevard.

The incident occurred at approximately 10:04 p.m. on Friday, April 26, 2024, when officers were dispatched to the Wawa for a woman attacking people with a knife.

37-year-old Christina Crane of Seminole entered the Wawa and appeared to be under the influence of an unknown substance and experiencing excited delirium. She armed herself with a long fixed-blade knife obtained from the deli department. Once armed, she used the knife to stab an adult male in his left hand. It resulted in a bleed described as significant.
