Tampa – The southbound I-275 ramp (Exit 45A) to Downtown East-West will close from 10 p.m., Tuesday, May 19, to 5 a.m., Wednesday, May 20, weather permitting.
Drivers should detour at Exit 46A, turn right on Floribraska Avenue, then left on Tampa Street, and continue south on Tampa Street to access Scott Street, Laurel Street, and Cass Street.
Advanced warning signs and message boards will be used to assist motorists during these closures. Drivers should use caution while traveling through the work zone and remain alert for pedestrians and construction workers.
These temporary nighttime ramp closures are necessary for crews to perform construction activities along interstate ramps for the Downtown Tampa Interchange (I-275/I-4) Safety and Operational Improvements project.
