Investigators from the St. Petersburg Police Department (SPPD) say that a St. Petersburg couple is facing multiple charges for sex abuse involving children.
SPPD has arrested 31-year-old Jason Wienrich and 26-year-old Alicia Stevens after receiving tips from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
When SPPD forensic detectives searched Wienrich’s electronic devices, they found images and videos of child sex abuse victims which included himself and Stevens.
The children involved in this case have been identified and are safe.
At this time, Wienrich faces two charges of Sexual Battery (involving children less than 12), Possession of Child Pornography, Unlawful Use of Two-way Communication Device, and Promote Sex Performance of a Child charges. Stevens faces Lewd & Lascivious Molestation, Use Child to Engage in Sex and Lewd & Lascivious Exhibition charges.
Wienrich is reportedly Stevens’ boyfriend and live in the same household.
