Fatal Motorcycle Crash on 22nd Avenue North

St. Petersburg Police are investigating a fatal motorcycle crash that occurred just before midnight on 22nd Avenue North.

On Thursday, April 24, 2025, at approximately 11:54 p.m., a motorcyclist was traveling eastbound in the 4700 block of 22nd Avenue North when he struck a traffic sign. The impact caused the rider to be ejected from the motorcycle onto the roadway.

He was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Authorities have not released the rider’s identity, pending notification of next of kin.
