St. Petersburg Police continue to investigate a shooting that left a man fighting for his life.
The shooting took place at approximately 5:15 p.m. on Sunday, July 14, 2019.
The shooting took place outside the Food Max convenient store located at 1400 18th Ave. South.
The victim, 31 year-old Darrell Simmons Jr, is in critical but stable condition. He was transported to Bayfront Health.
Detectives arrested the suspects in the shooting thatÂ
critically injured Darrell Simmons.
Antonio Ruffin DOB 12/30/80-charged with attempted homicide(gunman).
Eric Ruffin DOB 5/16/83-charged with principal to attempted homicide.
They are brothers and both are in custody.
