St. Petersburg Police Investigating Altercation on a School Bus
Officers from the St. Petersburg Police and crews from St. Petersburg Fire Rescue responded to reports of an altercation on a Pinellas County School Bus.
The incident occurred shortly before 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, December, 14, 2017 in the area of Tyrone Blvd and 66th Street.
It was been reported that the bus was enroute to Azalea Middle School located at 7855 22nd Ave N in St. Petersburg.
Police and fire rescue crews made contact with the bus, students, and driver on the south side of Tyrone Square Mall. It was also reported that some students exited the bus while in the roadway and remained in a secondary location at a nearby store.
All injuries have been described as minor.
It appears that the altercation involved a female student in possession of scissors.
