St. Petersburg Police Investigating Shot Fired That Prompted a Lockdown at Fairmount Park Elementary School
St. Petersburg Police continue to investigate an incident that occurred in the 500 block of 41st Street S. The incident occurred at about 4:10 p.m. on Wednesday, September, 19, 2018.
According to police, the occupant of one vehicle fired a shot at a second vehicle. The driver of the second vehicle, in an attempt to escape this dangerous situation, drove into the parking lot at Fairmount Park Elementary School.
The first vehicle fled the scene and police say they continue to investigate the incident.
No injuries were reported.
