St. Petersburg Woman Flees After a Man Points Gun at her in what Police are Calling an Attempted Kidnapping
On Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at 5:50 a.m., a 23 year old woman was jogging south on the sidewalk in the 2100 block of Coffee Pot Blvd. N.E., when a man in car approached her.
After asking for directions, he pulled out a handgun and told her to get in the car. The victim was able to run away and was not harmed.
Police are searching for a burnt orange crossover vehicle, possibly a Toyota Scion.
A very limited description of the suspect is available. Subject described as a black man with dreadlocks wearing a black t-shirt.
