Starkey Road Crash Injures Driver in Largo

At approximately 7PM on Friday, January 23, 2015, multiple units from Seminole Fire Rescue, Largo Fire Rescue and Sunstar Paramedics responded to reports of a vehicle crash in the intersection of Starkey Road and 126th Avenue.
Arriving units located one vehicle with heavy damage and another north of the crash.
One patient was extricated from the vehicle and a request was made for Bayflite or Aeromed to respond to the scene. The air transport upgrade was cancelled due to deteriorating weather conditions in the area.
The patient was transported via Sunstar Paramedics to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg.
The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office assisted with traffic control and the Florida Highway Patrol investigated the crash.
