Tarpon Spring Police searching for hit-and-run driver that critically injured a bicyclist

At approximately 5:10 p.m. on Thursday, April 4, 2024, a Grey
sedan was involved in a hit-and-run crash near the intersection of E. Orange
St. and Levis Ave in Tarpon Springs.

The victim, an adult male was riding a bicycle at the time. He was airlifted to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The vehicle will have damage to the front end, hood, and windshield. The vehicle fled the scene northbound on Levis Ave.

Anyone with information regarding the identity of the vehicle and/or driver is asked to call the Tarpon Springs Police Department at (727) 938-2849.
