Tarpon Springs police units responded to 727 E. Locust St., just prior to 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 23, 2020.
Crews from Tarpon Springs Fire Rescue (T.S.F.R) were working to extinguish a structure fire in the garage area of a home.
T.S.F.R. personnel made entry to the location and discovered a deceased individual.
Police detectives will be assisted by the Florida State Fire Marshal’s office in this investigation.
