Three Injured in Crash on Clearwater Beach
Clearwater Police and Clearwater Fire & Rescue remain on-scene of an crash with multiple serious injuries on Coronado Drive at Gulfview Boulevard.
The crash occurred shortly before 4:30 pm on Wednesday, September 6, 2017.
Clearwater Police say a Ford F-250 truck veered out of control and slammed into a tree, resulting in serious injuries to three of the four occupants.
One occupant of the truck was flown to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg.  Two others were transported to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg as trauma alert/trauma transport patients.
None of the injuries are believe to be life-threatening.
The fourth person in the truck refused medical treatment.
Coronado is closed between Gulfview Boulevard and Second Street as the investigation continues.
Motorists should avoid the area.
