Two motorcyclists hospitalized after collision in Clearwater

Clearwater Police and Clearwater Fire & Rescue responded to a crash that occurred at approximately 7 p.m. on Sunday, January 24, 2021.

The crash, involving two motorcycles, occurred at Drew Street and Highland Avenue.

Police say that two people were transported to the hospital. One of the injured was transported to the trauma center at Bayfront Health St. Petersburg.

It is not believed that the injuries are life-threatening but the injured are currently being evaluated by the emergency room personnel.

Drew Street was shut down from Highland Avenue to San Remo Avenue during the investigation.

The roadway was reopened by 8:45 p.m.
