On Thursday, July 16, 2020, at approximately 3:00 AM, FHP Troopers responded to a shooting incident on the southbound I-75 exit ramp leading to MLK Boulevard.
Upon arriving, Troopers discovered a white Nissan sedan and two deceased adult males who had been struck by gunfire.
Early reports indicate a third subject fled from the sedan traveling westbound from the interstate; a search by FHP Troopers and Hillsborough Sheriff’s Deputies failed to locate this individual.
Witnesses to the incident advised that suspects operating a white Jeep Cherokee were seen shooting at the sedan. Family members of the 25-year-old Bradenton man and the 26-year-old Ruskin man have been notified.
