Two people were injured this evening in a SUV vs motorcycle crash.
Largo Police and Fire Rescue were dispatched to a traffic incident about 7:20pm near the intersection of Eastbay Drive and Fulton Street. The crash was located just North of the intersection where a motorcycle was wedged under the front of a Jeep Cherokee. Both riders on the motorcycle were in the roadway when rescue workers arrived. The motorcycle was being driven by a male accompanied by a female passenger. The female passenger was declared a Trauma Alert and was transported to Bayfront Medical Center. A second Sunstar Unit responded to also transport the male driver to Bayfront Medical Center. Both individuals suffered obvious injuries to their lower extremities. The driver of the Jeep did not appear to have suffered any injuries in the crash.
Largo Police Department is currently investigating the details and causation of the crash.
