Two workers medevaced from Tarpon Springs construction site

Tarpon Springs Fire Rescue with the assistance from Palm Harbor Fire Rescue responded to a call at Meres Boulevard and Callista Cay Loop.

According to Tarpon Springs Fire Rescue Deputy Chief Misener, two workers fell while working on a roof truss at a construction site.

Both workers were treated for injuries and airlifted to the Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point Hospital in Hudson.

Both patients had to be extricated off the 2 story building via Ladder Truck 70.

According to Deputy Chief Misener, the extent of their injuries are unknown at this time.

IONTB was provided information that the preliminary injury reports were limited to ankle and rib injuries.
