Water Main Break Causes Traffic Delay 

Shortly after 4 a.m. today, there was an 8-inch diameter water pipe break affecting 66th Street North between Tyrone Blvd and 26th Avenue North. 

All northbound lanes of 66th St. are closed to traffic beginning at 23rd Avenue North. 

Southbound 66th St N remains open. 

Due to size of water pipe break, there will be a lot of roadway restoration after the pipe is repaired. Therefore, we anticipate the road closure may be two days.
