Westbound Fletcher Avenue Over the Hillsborough River Closed Due to Damaged Roadway
A cavern has formed under the westbound lanes of Fletcher Ave where it crosses over the Hillsborough River.
The majority of the outside lane underneath the bridge has eroded.
All westbound traffic on Fletcher Ave from I-75 to Telecom Parkway is shut down.
Traffic is being diverted southbound on Telecom PW which loops back to Morris Bridge Road.
Eastbound Fletcher is affected only due to the backup. Repairs are expected to extend into the evening.
