Woman Critically Injured and Man Dead in St. Petersburg Shooting
St. Petersburg Police are currently working at the scenes of two people shot.
Jasima McKinnie, age 29, was critically injured and taken to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg after being shot in front of a home at 5242 6th Street S.
A short time later, 29 year-old Marty Stone Jr., suffered a self-inflicted gunshot wound at Sunrise and 4th Street S. He was transported to Bayfront Health where he died from his injuries.
Investigations into both incidents are underway.
This incident does not appear to be connected to the shooting this afternoon.
This shooting appears to be an isolated incident as these two were in an on-again and off-again relationship.
