Woman on Personal Watercraft Found After Missing in the Waters off Sand Key

The Clearwater Police Department, Clearwater Fire & Rescue Department and multiple other agencies began searching for a missing woman on a personal watercraft this afternoon.

The woman, 55 year-old Tiffany Vanderberg, went missing about 1:30 p.m. near the  waters off Sand Key when a storm swept through the area. The U.S. Coast Guard, Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office and FWC also participated in the effort to locate her.

According to Clearwater Police, at about 5:20p.m., she was found safe and sound at a marina in southern Pinellas County located at 6000 Sun Blvd

Vanderburg has brown hair and is about 5 feet 4 inches tall.  She last was seen wearing an orange and black life vest and was riding a 1995 purple and white Sea-Doo.
