13 Year-old Girl Arrested For Making Threats Against Three Pasco Schools
Cyber-crimes detectives from the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office have arrested a 13-year-old girl after she made online threats against Gulf Middle, Gulf High and River Ridge High school. She is an 8th grader at Gulf Middle School and was arrested and charged with written threats to kill.
According to arrest documents, the defendant created a social media page on Instagram and named it “Jake The Klown” making threats of violence against the student body of Gulf Middle School, Gulf High School, and River Ridge High School. The threat was made in the form of a status of a falsely created account stating:
” These schools will be attacked:
- Gulf Middle School @12:12
- Gulf High School @9:45
- River Ridge High School @1:35
On Monday, October 30. Br ready kids ”
Some parents have reported that they have received a telephone message from the schools involved regarding this incident.
