18-Wheeler Collides with SUV in Largo; 2 Injured

At approximately 6:45 AM on Saturday, October 3, 2015, a crash occurred on East Bay Drive. It occurred at the intersection of 69th Street in the westbound lanes of traffic.

Two occupants of the heavily damaged vehicle needed to be extricated by crews from Largo Fire Rescue and Bayflite was requested to respond to the scene.
All westbound lanes were blocked due to the crash and eastbound lanes were closed while Bayflite was on the ground. Â One occupant was transported by Sunstar Paramedics and the other via Bayflite. Â Both patients were transported to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg.

Largo Police are on-scene investigating the details of the crash. Â The condition of those injured are unknown at this time.
